The Inca iron bed is a reimagining of our famous Bronte nickel bed. Over time, customers requested the design to soften with the addition of an elegant sweeping curve and powder coated in our variety of finishes- the most popular being Matt Black.
In Inca, we’ve preserved the classic geometrical and art-deco flare of our Bronte bed and paired it with the mono colour scheme we see growingly in popularity. Made from 100% British iron and guaranteed to last a lifetime. This design offers the stately elegance of a classic Victorian-inspired metal bed frame, blended with a modern yet traditional focal point. Allowing this design to bed blend into any setting, traditional or contemporary.
The Name – We name our beds following a tremendous amount of family delegation- with beds over the years inspired by cherished friends, family and the odd four-legged companion. Our Inca iron bed is no exception to the rule and follows the latter. Like our Rosie bed, Inca is named after our youngest son’s Black Labrador, who joined our family in the Autumn of 2020. With a bright, vibrant and adventurous personality and being jet black, the name was fitting for this design and kept with family tradition.

Iron beds – powder-coated
- We recommend that you clean your metal bed frame with a fresh soft damp cloth and dry thoroughly with a lint-free cloth.
- Avoid cleaning products that may contain solvents or ammonia.
- Authentic brass details will tarnish over time. As our brass is unlacquered, it can be cleaned using a quality brass cleaner. Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
- As our iron beds are heavy, we recommend a minimum of two people when moving or handling your bed.
- Never drag your bed and always lift it using the side rails.
- Heavy impacts may damage the powder-coated finish.
- Please note that careless handling may cause damage.

As the only carbon-neutral iron bed maker, working towards a sustainable future has been at the heart of our family company since we began. Although it does require a large amount of packaging to ensure that your bed arrives in perfect condition, with your help, we can ensure that all materials are reused or disposed of properly.
As standard, our delivery team will unbox and unbag your goods so that they can take any packaging away with them. If you’d like your goods to remain in their original packaging, please let us know before your delivery team arrives and be sure to dispose of the packaging appropriately.
It can be tricky to choose the right bed, especially when it’s guaranteed to last a lifetime. So, we offer you a promise: we’ll exchange your bed free of charge if you decide it’s the wrong size, style or colour within 30 days of delivery.
Our 30-day sleep promise covers our full range of handcrafted wrought iron beds. All that we ask is that you have seen your bed in person, in the correct style and colour, at our showroom. The bed must also be ordered from us directly.
