At its centre is a firm 1200 pocket spring system, offering medium tension and consistent support across the body. Without additional micro springs, the Natural No.5 delivers a slightly firmer, more straightforward feel—perfect for sleepers who want classic comfort without extra bounce.

What it lacks in complexity, it makes up for in natural integrity. We use only hand-teased British wool—sourced with full traceability—and breathable cotton to build up the comfort layers. These fibres work in harmony to regulate body temperature, reduce moisture, and add gentle softness to every sleep.

Choose from our standard cotton ticking, elegant Belgian damask, or go fully natural with our 100% chemical-free British-woven wool ticking. However you finish it, the Natural No.5 is grounded in natural principles, made with care, and designed for long-lasting comfort.

Care Instructions

To keep your Natural Comfort No.5 mattress in the best condition for years to come:
– Alternate rotating and turning over every two months. This ensures even wear and reduces the natural settlement of wool and cotton layers.
– Use a breathable, natural mattress protector. It shields your mattress from spills and moisture while preserving airflow and temperature regulation.
– Let your mattress breathe. Occasionally, remove the bedding to air the mattress and release any residual moisture.
– On delivery, allow the mattress to settle for a few hours before use. This helps the natural fillings relax, and any wool scent gently disperses.
– Use a soft brush or vacuum with an upholstery attachment for cleaning. In case of spills, blot immediately with a clean cloth—do not scrub or soak.
