The Wrought Iron & Brass Bed Co. Ltd, also known as WIBB, grants access and use of its website subject to specific terms and conditions. These terms apply to all users of the website, including those who casually browse. By using this website, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions, which take effect on your first visit to the site. WIBB reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time, with updates posted on the website. If you choose to make a purchase from WIBB via the online store, phone, or showroom, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined by WIBB.
Formation of the contract
A binding contract for the sale of any product between you and WIBB will only come into existence upon receipt of a confirmation of your order in the form of a receipt outlining the details of your order.
It is important to note that this site is intended solely for personal and non-commercial use. Furthermore, it is worth noting that the products featured on this site are only available for purchase within the UK, and as such, WIBB will only accept or process orders for delivery to non-UK addresses with additional communication.
Provision of Information
In order to place an order with WIBB, it is necessary to provide your name, address, and contact details. These details will be used in accordance with our privacy policy. Your personal information will never be shared with a third party without your prior consent.
Ordering goods
Upon placing an order, it is at WIBB’s discretion to accept or refuse said order. If WIBB suspects that the recipient intends to use the ordered/delivered items for commercial purposes without seeking prior consent, WIBB reserves the right to cancel the order/delivery. In such cases, WIBB may also seek compensation from the recipient for exploiting their services for commercial gain.
The information presented on our site and within the literature may contain technical inaccuracies or typographical errors, for which we shall not be held liable. Although we strive for accuracy in reproducing our products, we cannot be responsible for any variations in colour or style. We reserve the right to modify the specifications of our products and provide suitable alternatives in case of stock anomalies.
While we make reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of product and pricing information on our site, we make no warranties, either express or implied, concerning the accuracy of such information. Our utmost efforts will always be put towards producing high-quality reproductions.
Pricing
We retain the right to adjust prices and promotions at our discretion and add or remove items at any time. All prices listed are in pounds sterling and include VAT, but exclude service fees. Although we strive to ensure accuracy in our brochure and website, pricing errors may occasionally occur. If you order an item at an incorrect price, we will promptly notify you of the correct price and ask if you still wish to proceed with the purchase. You can then cancel or confirm your order at the correct price. Please note that online prices may differ from those in our physical stores.
Payment
As our products are tailor-made, payment in full is required upon ordering. Major credit and debit cards are accepted, while cheque or bank transfer payments are not.
Availability
We make every effort to inform you if an item is not available for any reason. Should you happen to order an item that we later realize is unavailable, we will promptly inform you and provide an estimate for when the item will be restocked. You are then free to choose whether to proceed with your original order, cancel it and receive a refund for any payment already made, or place an order for an alternative item.
Delivery
At WIBB, we strive to deliver your goods on the specified date, but please note that we cannot guarantee delivery or accept liability for any deliveries outside of our designated timescale. You will receive notification of your estimated week of delivery once your order has been checked and we have received a final confirmation from you. Please be aware that all items are subject to availability. Upon delivery, you may be asked to sign for your goods to confirm receipt.
Our delivery charges are detailed below:
– Local Delivery 1 – NR and PE30 – PE38 postcode areas: £0.00.
– Local Delivery 2 – PE1 – PE29, CB, IP, CO, CM postcode areas: £50.00.
– Other areas of England (excluding Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Somerset, Northumberland, and Cumbria): £75.00.
– Northumberland, Cumbria, Devon, Dorset, Somerset, Cornwall, Scotland (excluding Highlands & Moray), and Wales: £95.00.
– Highlands & Moray: £115.00.
If you require delivery to the Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Scottish Islands, Northern Ireland or international addresses, please note that delivery prices will be confirmed via email or telephone once we have received your order. Any air or sea freight costs will be passed on to the customer.
At WIBB, we aim to deliver all orders within the following timeframes:
– 42 days for Iron Beds.
– 42 days for Brass Beds (excluding Frederick, George, Elizabeth, Rosie and Amelia)
– 56 days for Frederick, George, Elizabeth, Rosie and Amelia.
– 84 days for Nickel Beds and Aurora.
Since our items are crafted on a made-to-order basis, the commencement of your lead time will be subject to receipt of your final confirmation through email. It should be noted that there may be circumstances in which the lead time is extended, but in these cases, we will keep you informed of any updates.
For international orders, please note that you may be subject to local duties, import duties, and additional charges payable by the receiver. WIBB accepts no liability for these charges. Delivery dates for international orders are estimates and subject to change, and we cannot be held liable for any delays.
Once your order is ready for delivery, we will contact you by email to arrange a suitable time slot. Upon delivery, please sign for your item(s) to confirm that they have been received and are in good condition unless WIBB has instructed you otherwise.

30 Day Bed PromiseExclusively available to those who visit our showroom and order directly from WIBB, our 30-day bed promise guarantees a one-time exchange if you find that you’ve made the wrong choice in bed. This promise applies only to beds purchased from us directly and requires you to have seen the selected bed style and colour in person.
To take advantage of this offer, the original purchaser must notify us in writing via recorded post to Wrought Iron and Brass Bed Co. Ltd or email within 30 days of delivery and provide proof of purchase. While we offer the right to upgrade the size of your bed for an additional fee, no refunds will be issued for downsizing.
Please note that any exchange will be subject to our standard lead times, and additional fees may be charged to cover the collection and delivery of the replacement product. We will advise you of any additional fees before processing your exchange.
Lifetime Guarantee
To demonstrate our high standard of materials and craftsmanship, we offer a lifetime guarantee on all our bed frames. Should an imperfection due to faulty materials or workmanship become apparent, WIBB will endeavour to repair or replace it free of charge at our discretion.
At Wrought Iron and Brass Bed Co. Ltd (WIBB), we stand behind our products and offer a lifetime guarantee on bed frames purchased directly from us and delivered by us. If you experience any faults due to poor craftsmanship or faulty raw materials, we will replace your bed frame free of charge, limited to one time only. However, normal wear and tear is not covered, and failure to follow care instructions may void the guarantee.
To make a claim, the original purchaser must submit a written claim via recorded post or email within one month of the imperfection arising, accompanied by the original proof of purchase (sales receipt or invoice). We regret that our lifetime guarantee does not extend to slats, bed bases, mattresses, bedding, or tarnishing of brass.
If bedframes are utilized in a hospitality setting without WIBB being previously advised or purchased through our trade programme, all guarantees will be rendered null and void.
We reserve the right to refuse a repair or replacement if the bed is in a filthy or unsanitary environment. We may offer an equivalent alternative if the product has been discontinued or cannot be repaired. It is important to note that your guarantee commences from the delivery date and when a signed delivery note is supplied. Failure to supply a signed delivery note will void any guarantee.
At WIBB, we are committed to upholding our obligations under English Law. Our lifetime guarantee and other warranties offered by us are subject to English Law and the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. Please remember that any guarantee offered by WIBB is in addition to, and not instead of, any rights you may have as a consumer under applicable English Law.
Manufacturers Tolerance
As all of our products are handmade, we allow a tolerance of 2.5cm on all bed frames, bed bases, and bedding items and 4cm on mattresses.
Although we always strive to reproduce our products accurately, we cannot guarantee that the measurements will be wholly accurate. If the received item differs from the advertised measurements by more than 2.5cm, we will exchange the affected item within our standard lead times. However, if the differences are below 2.5cm, WIBB reserves the right to refuse an exchange.
Mattress and Bed Base Guarantees
Your mattress and bed base are covered by a manufacturer’s guarantee that protects against material defects and faulty workmanship. It is essential to keep all necessary paperwork and register the guarantee with the manufacturer if required. Before signing for your goods, you should inspect them for any damage, and any faults or damaged items must be reported within 48 hours and supported by images of the issue.
However, if the manufacturer determines that care instructions have not been followed or that the item has been misused, soiled, or in a non-hygienic condition, the guarantee may be voided. Any claim must be made in writing within one month of the imperfection arising and supported by the original proof of purchase. The manufacturer can provide an alternative if the product is unavailable.
The terms of the guarantee are governed by English law. To make a claim, contact Wrought Iron and Brass Bed Co. Ltd at their address or email within the specified time frame. The original purchaser must make the claim.
Right to cancel, returns and refunds
Should you find yourself dissatisfied with any of the items you have purchased, please be aware that you have 14 days from the day after you receive your order to inform us that you wish to return the item(s) unless bespoke alterations have been made. To notify Wrought Iron and Brass Bed Company of your intent to return an item(s), please do so via recorded post to Wrought Iron and Brass Bed Co. Ltd, 39 Turbine Way, Eco-tech Business Park, Swaffham, Norfolk, PE37 7XD or through an email to showroom@wroughtironandbrassbed.co.uk.
After we have received the item(s), we will inspect it for damage and process a refund within ten days. Service charges, such as delivery and assembly fees, will not be included in your refund. However, to receive a full refund, the item(s) must be in a re-saleable/re-useable condition. If you return a mattress or bed base, the maximum refund you can receive will be 50% of the full selling price, as these items cannot be resold.
We cannot offer refunds on bedding items due to their non-resellable nature.
Please note that clearance items are non-returnable and non-refundable.
If you decide to cancel your order before the items are dispatched, a full refund of any payments made will be processed within 10 days of receiving notification that you wish to cancel.
In the event that we are unable to meet the expectations of our valued customers or if their behaviour is deemed confrontational or unreasonable, WIBB reserves the right to cancel any orders placed and shall offer a full refund on all items un-delivered.
Alternative Dispute Resolution
WIBB is a member of the Norfolk Trusted Trader scheme. In partnership with Referenceline, Norfolk Trusted Trader offers independent dispute resolution. We will endeavour to resolve any customer disputes fully and fairly through our own internal processes. In the event of a complaint not being resolved, we will write a final letter to you called a ‘deadlock’ letter. This letter signals that we have reached the end of our internal complaints procedure and that you may now progress your issues to independent dispute resolution through Norfolk Trusted Trader.

Although WIBB aims to offer you the best service possible, we make no promise that the services at the www.wroughtironandbrassbed.co.uk site will meet your requirements. We cannot guarantee that the service will be fault-free. If a fault occurs in the service you should report it to Customer Services (see contact details) and we will attempt to correct the fault as soon as we reasonably can.
Your access to the WIBB site may be occasionally restricted to allow for repairs, maintenance or the introduction of new facilities or services.

Liability
This is as follows: –
a) If the goods WIBB delivers are not what you ordered or are damaged or defective or the delivery is of an incorrect quantity, WIBB shall have no liability to you unless you notify WIBB in writing at WIBB contact address of the problem within 30 working days of the delivery of goods in question.
b) If you notify a problem to WIBB under this condition, WIBB only obligation will be, at its option:- to make good any shortage or non-delivery; to replace or repair any goods that are damaged or defective, or to refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question in whatever way WIBB chooses.
c) WIBB will not be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of any problem you notify to WIBB under this condition and WIBB shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation other than to refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question under paragraph (b) above.
d) Nothing in this condition is, however, intended to limit any rights you might have as a consumer under applicable local law that may not be excluded nor in any way to exclude or limit WIBB liability to you for any death or personal injury resulting from its negligence. Nothing in this agreement is intended to limit any rights you may have as a consumer under any applicable law that may not be legally excluded.
Validity
If any term, condition, or provision of these Terms and Conditions is determined to be unlawful, invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, the validity and enforceability of the remaining terms, conditions and provisions shall not in any way be affected or impaired thereby.
Force majeure
WIBB will not be liable to you in the event that it is prevented by circumstances beyond its control from delivering any product which you have ordered or for any damaged or defective goods.
Trademark notice
All names, logos, trademarks and titles used in this site are trademarks or trade names of their respective holder.
Governing law
Any contract between us will be interpreted, construed and interpreted in all respects in accordance with the laws of England and any dispute in relation to such contract shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
Entire agreement
These Terms and Conditions, together with the current WIBB brochure and website prices, delivery details and WIBB contact details, set out the whole of our agreement relating to the supply of the goods to you by WIBB.
These Terms and Conditions cannot be varied except in writing signed by a director of WIBB. In particular, nothing said by any sales person on behalf of WIBB should be understood as a variation of these Terms and Conditions or as an authorised representation about the nature or quality of any goods offered for sale by WIBB shall have no liability for any such representation being untrue or misleading.
