We add layers of hand-teased British wool and sustainable cotton—natural fillings that breathe with you, regulate temperature, and wick away moisture. Our wool comes directly from British farmers we know and support, giving you full traceability and a story worth sleeping on.

This no-turn design simplifies care while maintaining lasting comfort and integrity. You can tailor the finish of the Bedstead No.2 to suit your preferences. Choose from a classic tight-woven cotton ticking or soft-to-touch cotton for a traditional look and feel. For a completely natural option, we also offer British-woven wool ticking—100% chemical-free and ideal for those with sensitivities or a desire for an untreated, breathable sleep surface.

For best results, remove any bedding or covers from your mattress periodically to let the natural fillings breathe.

When your mattress arrives, unwrap it and let it settle for a few hours. This gives the natural fibres time to relax and air out and allows any scent from the wool to disperse gently.

Keep your mattress clean by using a soft brush or vacuum with an upholstery attachment. In the event of a spill, blot the area immediately with a clean, absorbent cloth—avoid soaking or scrubbing to protect the natural fillings.
