Aurora’s Story
In celebration of our twentieth anniversary, we set a challenge for our master craftspeople to design and create something unique and special to add to our handcrafted British iron bedframes collection. The first one to feature an exceptionally hand-painted brass finish – exclusively crafted for the Aurora four-poster bedframe. Indulge in the exquisite finish of this design, which guarantees to sparkle and dazzle throughout a lifetime.
Enhancing the design with a custom-made headboard and side panels, all wrapped in 100% linen fabric – their masterpiece is proof of our team’s talent, inventiveness, and outstanding craftsmanship. Simultaneously, it provides an embracing feeling.
To maximise comfort and support, our skilled artisans finished the Aurora four-poster bedframe with our most soothing sprung bed base, improving the comfort level of your mattress that might have been part of a beautiful dream.

- Made from 100% British iron, powder coated with a luxury hand-painted finish.
- Upholstered headboard and side panels, finished in 550gsm 100% linen and filled with 100% recycled polyester. Customer’s own fabric option available – call our showroom on 01485 542516 for more details.
- Lifetime guarantee on the metal bed frame.
- Upholstered sections can be removed for cleaning and re-upholstery.
- Assembled by the Wrought Iron and Brass Bed Company delivery team on the day of delivery.
- Approx. lead time of up to 10 weeks.
- Care instructions: Clean ironwork with a damp cloth and gently wipe over the surface. Heavy impacts may damage the powder-coated finish. Professional services must clean upholstery.
Care Instructions
- We recommend you clean your metal bed frame with a fresh, soft, damp cloth and dry thoroughly with a lint-free cloth. Avoid cleaning products that may contain solvents, ammonia, or abrasives.
- Due to the weight of our Aurora bedframe, we do not recommend it being moved once assembled. The bed frame must be dismantled fully by at least three people if it is required to be moved. Dismantle and relocation service available on request – please call 01485 542516 for more details.
- Top horizontal rails are non-weight bearing and should bear no weight at any time.
- Upholstery must be cleaned by using professional services.
- Heavy impacts may damage the powder-coated finish.
- Please note that careless handling may cause damage.
Delivery & Returns
Our handcrafted beds are made to order, and delivery times may range from 4 to 14 weeks, depending on the model selected. For mainland UK addresses, the expected delivery times are:
● up to 6 weeks for Iron beds
● up to 10 weeks for Brass beds
● up to 14 weeks for Nickel beds.

We strive to ensure the timely delivery of your order and will inform you of any changes. Upon placing an order, an email confirmation will be sent to you within 72 hours.
Our delivery team will then provide an estimated delivery week shortly after.
To ensure the quality of our service, we handle all deliveries ourselves. For Brass and Nickel beds, our in-house delivery team will assemble your new bed in a room of your choice on the day of delivery and dispose of all packaging according to our strict ‘Recycle, Reuse Policy’. Our assembly service can be added for Iron beds at the time of order.
Before departing, our delivery team will require a signed delivery note to confirm your satisfaction with the bed and its condition.

Our family company has always been committed to working towards a sustainable future, which is why we are proud to be the only carbon-neutral+ wrought iron bed maker. Despite requiring various packaging to ensure your bed arrives in perfect condition, we assure you that all our packaging is 100% single-use and plastic-free.
To further minimise our environmental impact, our delivery team will remove all packaging when delivering your goods unless you specify that you prefer to keep the original packaging. This helps us considerably reduce the amount of packaging needed and ensures that all materials are reused or disposed of correctly. So, rest easy knowing that our commitment to sustainability extends from our manufacturing process to delivery.
Our 30-Day Sleep Promise
Investing in a new bed and mattress goes beyond a simple purchase, as it plays a crucial role in determining the quality of our sleep. Nevertheless, selecting the perfect bed based on pictures alone can be challenging. To ensure you find the right one, we encourage you to browse our range of handcrafted beds and try out our mattresses in person by visiting our showroom.
Once you’re there, you’ll have the opportunity to witness the true beauty of your chosen style and colour, and if you decide to go ahead with the purchase, you’ll automatically qualify for our 30-day bed promise. If you’re dissatisfied with your bed’s performance, we will exchange it for a different size, style, or colour.*
