100-Night Mattress Comfort Promise

Choosing a new wool mattress is an investment in better sleep. We want you to feel confident from your very first night. That’s why every qualifying British wool mattress includes our 100-Night Mattress Comfort Promise. Our promise is different from a traditional sleep trial. We don’t ask you to return your mattress if it doesn’t feel quite right. Instead, we help you find the right level of support. If, after 100 nights, your mattress isn’t as comfortable or supportive as expected, we’ll replace the spring unit inside.

Many mattress companies ask you to send your mattress back and start again. We don’t.

We handcraft every mattress to order in our Norfolk workshop. This allows us to adjust the support without replacing the entire mattress. We simply rebuild your mattress with a more suitable spring unit.

How our Comfort Promise works.

After 100 nights, contact our team if your mattress doesn’t feel as comfortable or supportive as you’d hoped. You can reach us by phone, email, or by filling out the enquiry form on our website. We’ll talk through your experience and recommend the most suitable support level.

Next, we’ll arrange to collect your mattress from your home and return it to our workshop. Our skilled craftspeople will carefully open the mattress, replace the spring unit, and handcraft it again before delivering it to you. Collection and redelivery are included, so there are no hidden costs. Most comfort adjustments are completed within 21 days, helping you get back to enjoying your mattress as quickly as possible.

On rare occasions, such as remote location access or exceptional circumstances, additional time may be required. If any extra costs apply outside the standard process, our team will always discuss and confirm these with you in advance.

Why wait 100 nights?

Every new mattress needs time to settle, and so does your body.

If you’ve been sleeping on the same mattress for several years, your muscles and joints have become used to its level of support. When you move to a new mattress, your body needs time to adjust to healthier spinal alignment and more balanced support. During the first few weeks, it’s completely normal for the mattress to feel different from what you’re used to.

At the same time, the natural British wool fillings begin settling. As you sleep, the wool gently compresses and moulds to your body, creating a sleep surface that’s uniquely yours. This is one of the many benefits of natural wool and an important part of how your mattress develops its long-term comfort.

We recommend sleeping on your mattress for at least 100 nights before deciding whether it provides the right level of support. This gives both you and the mattress enough time to adapt.

If, after 100 nights, you feel your mattress still isn’t as comfortable or supportive as you expected, our 100-Night Comfort Promise is here to help. We’ll assess your needs and, if required, adjust the internal spring unit to provide a more suitable level of support.

Our goal isn’t simply to sell you a mattress. It’s to make sure you enjoy years of comfortable, supportive sleep with a mattress that’s tailored to you.

A wool mattress made to last

We believe a great wool mattress should adapt to you, not end up in a landfill because the support wasn’t quite right.

That’s why we handcraft every mattress with long-lasting comfort and support in mind. Unlike mass-produced mattresses, ours can be opened, adjusted, and rebuilt by the same skilled craftspeople who made them.

Instead of replacing the entire mattress, we simply change the internal spring unit. This allows us to fine-tune the support while preserving the natural British wool comfort layers and the craftsmanship that makes your mattress unique.

This approach reduces waste and extends the life of your mattress. It also makes the most of the premium natural materials we’ve carefully sourced from British sheep farms.

Most importantly, it gives you complete confidence in your purchase. If the support doesn’t feel quite right after the 100-night settling period, we’ll adjust your mattress rather than asking you to replace it.

We believe that’s how a handcrafted mattress should be made. Build it to last. Design it to be adjusted. Create it to deliver years of natural comfort, reliable support, and better sleep.

Sleep better with confidence

Choosing a new mattress is an investment in better sleep, and we want you to feel certain about your choice. Every qualifying wool mattress comes with our 100-Night Comfort Promise because we believe lasting comfort starts with proper support.

From the day your mattress arrives, you can enjoy the reassurance of knowing it’s handcrafted to order in Britain using premium natural materials. As you sleep, the British wool naturally settles and gently moulds to your body, creating the comfort and support it’s designed to deliver.

If after the 100-night settling period your mattress still doesn’t feel quite right, we’ll help. We’ll listen to your comments, recommend the most suitable level of support, and adjust the internal spring unit to better fit your needs.

Our promise reflects how we believe mattresses should be made. We don’t build disposable products. We handcraft every mattress to last, and we design each one so we can adjust and rebuild it if your support needs change.

When you choose one of our handcrafted wool mattresses, you’re choosing more than exceptional comfort. You’re choosing British craftsmanship, premium natural materials, and a mattress that’s built to support you for many years. Most importantly, you’re choosing a company that stands behind every mattress it makes.

Terms and Conditions

The 100-Night Comfort Promise applies to all qualifying mattresses purchased directly from us. To be eligible, your purchase must include guidance from a member of our team, either in one of our showrooms or over the phone. This helps us recommend the most suitable level of support from the outset.

The Comfort Promise does not apply to mattresses purchased through third-party retailers or stockists.

Our 100-Night Comfort Promise allows us to adjust the support of your mattress by replacing the internal spring unit after the initial 100-night settling period. It is not a sleep trial and does not include returns, exchanges, or refunds based on comfort preference. The adjustment is available after the initial 100-night settling period.

To remain eligible, you must use your mattress on a suitable bed base and care for it in line with our recommendations. Rotate your mattress regularly to encourage even settlement, vacuum it occasionally with a soft-bristled attachment, and always use a wool mattress protector to help keep it clean.

Please keep your mattress in good, hygienic condition throughout the 100-night period. Mattresses with stains, damage, signs of misuse, or unsanitary conditions are not eligible for adjustment under the Comfort Promise.
