Aurora’s Story
In celebration of our twentieth anniversary, we set a challenge for our master craftspeople to design and create something unique and special to add to our handcrafted British iron bedframes collection. The first one to feature an exceptionally hand-painted brass finish – exclusively crafted for the Aurora four-poster bedframe. Indulge in the exquisite finish of this design, which guarantees to sparkle and dazzle throughout a lifetime.
Enhancing the design with a custom-made headboard and side panels, all wrapped in 100% linen fabric – their masterpiece is proof of our team’s talent, inventiveness, and outstanding craftsmanship. Simultaneously, it provides an embracing feeling.
To maximise comfort and support, our skilled artisans finished the Aurora four-poster bedframe with our most soothing sprung bed base, improving the comfort level of your mattress that might have been part of a beautiful dream.

- Lifetime guarantee on the metal bed frame.
- Upholstered sections can be removed for cleaning and re-upholstery.
- Assembled by the Wrought Iron and Brass Bed Company delivery team on the day of delivery.
- Approx. lead time of up to 10 weeks.
- Care instructions: Clean ironwork with a damp cloth and gently wipe over the surface. Heavy impacts may damage the powder-coated finish. Professional services must clean upholstery.
Care Instructions
- We recommend you clean your metal bed frame with a fresh, soft, damp cloth and dry thoroughly with a lint-free cloth. Avoid cleaning products that may contain solvents, ammonia, or abrasives.
- Due to the weight of our Aurora bedframe, we do not recommend it being moved once assembled. The bed frame must be dismantled fully by at least three people if it is required to be moved. Dismantle and relocation service available on request – please call 01485 542516 for more details.
- Top horizontal rails are non-weight bearing and should bear no weight at any time.
- Upholstery must be cleaned by using professional services.
- Heavy impacts may damage the powder-coated finish.
- Please note that careless handling may cause damage.
Delivery and returns
As all of our beds are painstakingly handcrafted to order, our delivery times range from 4 to 12 weeks depending on the model you choose.
For mainland UK addresses, typical delivery times are as follows:
- Iron beds: 4 to 6 weeks
- Brass beds (excluding Rosie and Willow): 6 to 8 weeks
- Nickel and copper beds, and Rosie and Willow brass beds: 8 to 10 weeks
Occasionally, it may take longer to deliver your bed, although changes to your delivery will always be communicated with you.
You’ll receive an order confirmation via email within 72 hours, and our delivery team will aim to confirm a provisional delivery week shortly after. It is possible to request a specific delivery date: please call our showroom on 01485 542516 for more details and to check availability before placing your order.
We’re delighted to handle all of our own deliveries, which helps ensure a quality service. Our delivery team can assemble your bed in a room of your choice, and we’ll even make sure to remove all the packaging ready for a restful night’s sleep.
A signed delivery note will be required by our delivery team before they can leave. It should confirm that you’re happy with your new bed and everything is as expected. Please take a moment to check your goods carefully before signing.

Recycling
As the only carbon-neutral iron bed maker, working towards a sustainable future has been at the heart of our family company since we began. Although it does require a large amount of packaging to ensure that your bed arrives in perfect condition, with your help, we can ensure that all materials are reused or disposed of properly.
As standard, our delivery team will unbox and unbag your goods so that they can take any packaging away with them. If you’d like your goods to remain in their original packaging, please let us know before your delivery team arrives and be sure to dispose of the packaging appropriately.
30 Day Sleep Promise
Choosing the perfect bed is an investment, especially when it’s handcrafted to last a lifetime. That’s why we encourage customers to visit our showroom, where you can experience our beds in person, compare styles, and see colours properly before ordering.
Our Sleep Promise is a confidence guarantee. Designed to give you complete peace of mind. If you’ve visited our showroom and viewed your chosen bed style and colour in person, but once delivered, you feel it isn’t the right fit for your home, you can exchange your bed within 30 days of delivery free of charge.
We also extend our Sleep Promise to online and telephone orders. However, exchanges for orders placed without a showroom visit are subject to collection, redelivery, dismantling and reassembly charges. Any change in bed size or product specification may also incur additional charges or refunds where applicable.
