At its core, the No.4 features a 2000 pocket spring unit (in a 5ft model), delivering consistent, firm support with minimal motion transfer. Each spring works independently, adapting to your body and promoting healthy alignment.

Layered above the springs is a curated fill of hand-teased British wool fleece, placed using our time-honoured loose-fill technique. This construction method allows the wool to remain lofty and breathable, gently adapting to your movements while offering essential pressure relief. Wool’s natural temperature-regulating properties make this mattress an excellent choice for year-round comfort.

Wrapped in our signature British-woven wool ticking, the No.4 is entirely chemical-free. There are no glues, foams, or fire-retardant sprays—just clean, natural materials. We scour our wool with organic detergent and source it directly from UK farmers, whom we pay fairly and above-market to maintain quality and traceability.
