At its heart is a 3,000 pocket spring unit (in a 5ft size), crafted to respond independently to your body’s movement. This creates supportive zones across shoulders, back, and hips, helping maintain spinal alignment and reduce motion transfer—whether you sleep solo or share.

Layered above the springs is over-hand-teased British wool fleece, known for its natural breathability, thermoregulation, and hypoallergenic properties. Enhanced with horsetail, alpaca, cotton and silk, the fibres are placed using our loose-fill construction, a traditional hand-teasing method that creates space between the fibres, allowing them to cradle your body without restriction. This delivers the comfort of softness with the structure of support—perfect for natural living enthusiasts seeking a mattress that truly adapts.

Encased in our British-woven wool ticking, the No.3 is 100% chemical-free, fire-safe without added treatments, and free from foam, glue, or synthetic layers. The wool itself is sourced directly from British farmers and cleaned using organic detergent—ensuring that every element of this mattress is as pure and traceable as possible.
