This model is filled with hand-teased British wool fleece, silk, alpaca, cotton, and horsetail—chosen for their temperature-regulating and cushioning properties. These fibres are layered in our loose-fill construction, allowing the materials to remain open and airy. They gently adjust to the shape of your body while promoting ventilation and resilience over time.

At its core, the No.2 features a 3200-count pocket spring unit (5ft) that adapts seamlessly to your body’s movements. These independent springs reduce motion transfer and offer tailored support for every sleep style—whether side, back, or front.

The entire mattress is wrapped in our signature British-woven wool ticking—a breathable, chemical-free textile that is naturally flame-resistant without synthetic treatments. Every element of the No.2 mattress is chosen for purity and sustainability, including the organic detergent used to scour the wool. Our fleece is purchased directly from British farmers, bypassing intermediaries so we can offer a fair, above-market price while ensuring traceability and integrity.
