As well as designing and building new contemporary and traditional beds, we also have expertise and experience in the restoration of old wrought iron beds.

When we restore an original bedstead we first appraise the bed with the customer and inform them as to what can be done. The bed is then dismantled to the last nut and bolt. If necessary it is left to soak in an oil bath. Once dismantled the metal is aluminium beaded, this means no detailing is lost. The bedstead is then primed and powder coated to the customers choice of colour. If strengthening is required it is done discretely so as not to be obvious to the human eye. With brass beds the customer has a choice, once cleaned of decades of grime the brass is polished back to it's original lustre.
